Dr. Apoorva Bhatt is an Associate Professor in Molecular Microbiology and Program Director of the MSc Microbiology and Infection at the University of Birmingham’s School of Biosciences. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of pathogenic mycobacteria, particularly Mycobacterium tuberculosis, investigating cell wall biogenesis, biofilm formation, and drug resistance.
