Anya Butt

Anya Butt is a Professor of Biology at Central College, where she has taught since 2002. She oversees the environmental studies program, emphasizing applied research and geospatial technologies. Her expertise spans geosciences, global health, and natural disaster resilience. Dr. Butt holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, M.S. from the University of Toronto, and Ph.D. from the University of Nevada. She is a certified GIS Professional and actively contributes to the Heartland Global Health Consortium.
