Anya Alexeyev

Anya Alexeyev is an Associate Professor and Keyboard Coordinator at the Faculty of Music, Wilfrid Laurier University. A graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Royal College of Music, she maintains an active international performance career while specializing in piano pedagogy.

• Performances with Royal Philharmonic, BBC Philharmonic, Moscow State Symphony, and other major orchestras
• Teaching affiliations at Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy and Glenn Gould School
• Students achieve top placements in Canadian competitions and admission to prestigious programs

Her research/creative work focuses on performance-based pedagogy and classical music interpretation. Alexeyev also contributes to music education through her studio teaching practice and institutional affiliations.
