Antti Lampinen

Antti Lampinen is an Adjunct Professor (Docent) in Classical Philology at the University of Turku, Finland, and an Adjunct Professor (Docent) in Ancient Languages and Culture at the University of Helsinki, Finland. He previously served as Assistant Director at the Finnish Institute at Athens from 2018 to 2023. His research focuses on classical archaeology, late antiquity, and Byzantine studies, with particular interests in seafaring, mobility, and the ancient Mediterranean environment. He has edited anthologies such as Seafaring and Mobility in the Late Antique Mediterranean.
