Antony Clare

Antony Clare is an instrumental tutor (piano), performer, and composer affiliated with the School of Languages, Arts and Societies at the University of Sheffield. He combines teaching with collaborative music-making, composition, and leadership in promoting contemporary music for diverse audiences.

• Contemporary piano and bass clarinet composition

• Ensemble leadership as Music Director of the East Midlands Ensemble

Antony is actively involved in:

• Co-founding the duo SCAW (Sarah Watts and Antony Clare) with two CD releases
• Promoting non-professional musicians' opportunities through CoMA (Contemporary Music-making for All)
• Accompanist work for recitals and exams
