Antonio Rodriguez is an Associate Professor of French Literature at the University of Lausanne's Faculty of Arts (French Section) since 2011. He holds a literature degree from the University of Lausanne and a doctorate in French literature from Paris III, with a focus on literary theory and contemporary writing.
His research revitalizes approaches to poetry by emphasizing reader interaction, as seen in his doctoral work Le Pacte lyrique (2003). He co-directed projects like What Ethics for Literature? (2007) and Song and Lyric Writing (2009). Currently, he is preparing a critical edition of Max Jacob’s works for Gallimard.
Rodriguez chairs the Association of Friends of Gustave Roud and participates in international networks such as the ANR 'Emotions: Powers of Art,' exploring empathy in literature. He serves on the 'Poetry' commission of France’s National Book Center.
