Antonia Pont is Associate Professor of Writing and Literature at Deakin University's School of Communication and Creative Arts. Her interdisciplinary research spans creative writing, philosophy of practice, deconstruction, and performative writing. She examines habit, change, and embodied practices through philosophical and creative lenses.
Dr. Pont teaches courses including Writer's Toolkit, Writing Spaces, and Writing Project. Her research explores subtractive methodologies in creative practice, yoga as embodied philosophy, and intersections between writing and somatic disciplines. She has supervised over 20 doctoral students in creative writing and philosophy.
