Antonella Ercolani is a Full Professor of Eastern European History (M-STO/03) at the Faculty of Political Sciences of UNINT. She holds academic positions since 1990, including researcher roles at the University of Cassino and UNINT, and became Full Professor in 2007. Her teaching includes courses on Balkan History, Geopolitics of the Balkans/Eurasia, and International Relations/Human Rights across multiple academic programs at UNINT.
Research focuses on Southeastern Europe's foreign policy, the Adriatic Question, Albania’s communist era, and gender dynamics in Eastern Europe. She directs the CIRCgE (Interdisciplinary Research Center on Gender Culture) and is a member of AISSECO (Italian Association of Studies of Central and Eastern European History).
Teaching roles include:

- Geopolitics of the Balkans and Eurasia (Master’s LM-52, UNINT)
- International Politics/Human Rights (Master’s LM-77, UNINT)
