Antje Linkenbach-Fuchs is a Research Fellow at the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies (University of Erfurt). She also serves as the Equal Opportunity Officer at the Max-Weber-Kolleg and participates in the M.S. Merian – R. Tagore International Centre of Advanced Studies ‘Metamorphoses of the Political’. Her work focuses on intercultural dimensions of human rights, cultural translation, and value generalization processes.
Research Interests:
- Intercultural legitimacy of human rights norms
- Regional human rights frameworks (e.g., African, Islamic, South Asian)
- Value constellations in non-Western cultural contexts
- Social justice, environmental justice, and Dalit rights in India
