Anthony R. Thornton

Anthony R. Thornton is Full Professor in Granular Materials at the University of Twente's MESA+ Institute. His research develops computational methods for studying particle physics and material behavior using discrete element modeling.

Current projects include modeling moisture-limited aeolian sediment transport and creating efficient algorithms for molecular simulations of energy storage systems. His work advances understanding of complex material systems through innovative computational approaches applied to environmental processes and electrochemical devices.
