Anthony Melillo

Anthony (Tony) Melillo is a Senior Lecturer in the Biology and Environmental Science Department at the University of New Haven's College of Arts and Sciences. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of New Haven and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Connecticut.

His teaching focuses on bioinformatics, biostatistics, database design, genomics, and computer programming, emphasizing active learning and problem-solving through data analysis. Research interests center on RNA-seq differential expression analysis and molecular detection of infectious organisms in host tissues.
