Anthony Malone

Anthony Malone is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Maynooth University, with significant leadership roles in educational programs such as the Future Leaders Programme and TL21/M.Ed. (IL). He holds a PhD and two first-class Honours Master's degrees, with studies at University College London and the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on pedagogical responses to extremism, teacher education, and curriculum innovation. He has led multiple international research projects funded by organizations like the ISF-P and Qatar Foundation. Malone has received prestigious awards, including the Maynooth University President’s Award for Teaching and Learning (2022) and a CTL Fellowship (2023).

His research interests span educational policy, professional learning communities, and action research. Recent projects include EDURAD (extremism responses) and SALaM (migration studies).
