Anthony Hill

Professor Anthony Hill is a leading academic at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University. He obtained his MSc (Hons) from the University of Auckland and DrRerNat from Universität Bayreuth, Germany. His career includes positions at the University of Bristol, University of Warwick, and Imperial College before joining ANU.

His research spans coordination and organometallic chemistry, focusing on metal-carbon multiple bonds and the interface between transition and main group chemistries. He has supervised numerous research projects and pioneered the synthesis of novel co-ligands to modulate reactivity.
