Anthony Gomez III is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Oklahoma, specializing in nineteenth and twentieth century American literature, Latinx and Indigenous Studies, film, and energy humanities. His creative works include a forthcoming volume on Mazzy Star’s album So Tonight That I Might See (Bloomsbury, 2026) and fiction published in literary magazines such as New Letters and Four Way Review.
His academic research focuses on energy systems and environmental resistance in Southwest literature, particularly through Indigenous and Mexican-American narratives post-Mexican-American War.
