Anthony Delitto is a Professor and Associate Provost of Digital Education at the University of Pittsburgh. He formerly served as Dean of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) and Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy for 21 years. His research focuses on musculoskeletal disorders, implementing evidence-based care, and preventing chronic low back pain through stratified care approaches. Delitto leads the University’s Center for Excellence in Digital Education (Pitt EDGE), advancing online and hybrid educational programs. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles and secured major grants, including a $13M PCORI grant for the TARGET trial studying low back pain management.
