Anselme Kouame is a PhD candidate at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and associated with ISRIC – World Soil Information. His research focuses on identifying the causes of variable maize yield responses in Ghana using a multi-model approach.
He is supervised by Prof. Dr. Gerard Heuvelink (WUR and ISRIC), Dr. Prem Bindraban (IFDC), and Dr. Ikram Chairi (UM6P University, Morocco). Kouame holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Agricultural Engineering and has several years of experience in agricultural plantation management, irrigation, soil fertility management, digital soil mapping, and crop modeling.
His expertise spans irrigation and drainage systems, agricultural data science, and soil fertility mapping. He is affiliated with the Soil Geography and Landscape subdivision, contributing to research aimed at improving agricultural practices in developing countries.
