Anosh Gill

Anosh Gill is an Associate Professor and Division Director of Graphic Communication at the School of Journalism & Graphic Communication (SJGC), Florida A&M University (FAMU). With over 30 years of professional experience in national and international advertising, he combines industry expertise with academic leadership. He holds an M.F.A. in Media Design from The Ohio State University (2014) and a B.S. in Industrial Design (1992).

His research focuses on graphic design, motion design, intercultural communication, and typography. Notable achievements include a Fulbright Scholarship (2022), over 100 graphic design awards, and keynote speaking engagements at global conferences such as the MODE Conference (Philadelphia, 2023), ATypI (Paris, 2023), and the Nigeria Design Conference (virtual, 2022). His students have collectively won 400+ awards for their design work.

He has presented peer-reviewed work on topics like motion design pedagogy and intercultural typography at conferences including MODE and ATypI. Community service includes over 500 hours of pro bono work for organizations such as the Black History Alliance and TallyShorts.
