Annie Mutamba

Annie Mutamba is a Visiting Professor in the EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies Department at the College of Europe (Bruges Campus). With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in advising governments, NGOs, and businesses on EU-Africa relations. She co-founded a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy focusing on EU-Africa projects and initiated Africa Communications Week, an international platform for communication experts.

• Education: Two Master’s degrees in Communication (University of Liège, Belgium) and International Relations (University of Bradford, UK)

Her work spans UN and EU-funded programs in trade, health, education, and peacebuilding across Africa. She has lectured at IHECS Brussels since 2010 and previously managed communication programs at the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic). Her expertise integrates strategic communication with policy advocacy in transnational contexts.
