Annie Miller

Annie Miller is Associate Dean for Student Success and Strategic Initiative and Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs. She co-leads Collaborative Management Consulting LLC and serves on the board of the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking. Her scholarship examines network effectiveness in combating human trafficking, targeted violence prevention, nonprofit capacity building, and community-based strategies to reduce identity-based violence.

Her research focuses on violence prevention networks, nonprofit management innovation, and community resilience against hate crimes. Recent work emphasizes trauma-responsive pedagogy and community participatory research methodologies.

Publications demonstrate applications of community-based research in anti-trafficking initiatives and strategies for inclusive policy development. Studies frequently address collaborative governance models and educational frameworks for equity advancement.
