Annie Marcks

Annie Marcks is a Lecturer in the Teaching and Learning department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Education. She teaches literacy courses for early childhood and elementary/middle education programs and coordinates the Wisconsin Foundations of Reading Test (FoRT) preparation program.

Her research interests focus on literacy development, reading instruction methodologies, and special education strategies. With prior experience as a special education teacher and middle school English instructor, her work bridges theoretical pedagogy with practical classroom applications.
