Anni Tamm is a lecturer and research fellow at the University of Tartu’s Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (2015) and Master’s (2011) degrees in psychology from the University of Tartu, and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Thames Valley University (2009).
Her research focuses on developmental psychology, particularly child development, parenting strategies, and the influence of socialization on values and behavior. She has contributed to projects such as the Estonian Center of Excellence of Well-Being Sciences and studies on child development during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tamm is also active in academic administration, serving on the Research Ethics Committee and the Centre for Ethics Council at the University of Tartu.
Key awards include the 2015 Publication Award and the 2018 Quality Mark for an e-course on contemporary teaching practices. Her work spans peer-reviewed articles, conference presentations, and book chapters, emphasizing longitudinal studies on child language development, parental beliefs, and conflict management.
