Annette Grape is an Associate Professor at the Social Work Department of SUNY Brockport. She holds a BA in Psychology from Indiana University, an MSW in Children and Families from Syracuse University, and a PhD in Health Practice Research from the University of Rochester. Previously, she served as research faculty at the University of Rochester School of Nursing, leading an asthma self-management program for urban adolescents. With 25+ years of experience, her work spans clinical practice, supervision, and administration in mental health services for at-risk youth and families.
Her research focuses on mental health service delivery for adolescents with behavioral challenges, evidence-based practice implementation, and social work preparedness. She teaches Human Behavior in the Social Environment I & II and Research Methods. Professional experience includes community-based service roles across provider, supervisor, and administrator levels.
