Annette-Barbara Vogel

Annette-Barbara Vogel is a Full Professor and String Division Coordinator at Western University's Don Wright Faculty of Music, holding office TC 110. She maintains an active international profile as a violinist, educator, and artistic director.

Recognized as one of Germany's finest violinists, Vogel's research and performance interests center on advanced violin techniques, chamber music traditions, and underrepresented composers. Vogel has produced over fifteen commercial albums with labels like Avie Records and Bluegriffin Recordings, including critically acclaimed recordings of Hans Gál and French women composers. Her 2011 release 'Französische Komponistinnen' received the British IRR Outstanding Recording Award.
