Annesha White is an Associate Professor and Pharmacotherapy Assistant Dean at the UNT System College of Pharmacy, University of North Texas Health Science Center. She holds a PharmD from Florida A&M University, an MS in Pharmacoeconomics from Florida A&M, and a PhD in Public Health/Health Services from the University of Florida.
Her research focuses on health services research, including Medicare, managed care, pharmacoeconomics, and outcomes research. Current projects address End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), hyperphosphatemia, and pain management. She has led/co-led 9 sponsored projects, including the PROMIS Learning Lab at the University of Texas at Arlington, which investigates medication safety and resilience.
Dr. White has authored over 20 publications since 2006, with recent work emphasizing pharmacy education, virtual learning impacts, and pandemic-related healthcare challenges. Her collaborative research spans interdisciplinary teams and explores topics such as drug interactions, healthcare access equity, and professional identity formation in pharmacy students.
Her grants and projects highlight her commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based strategies and interprofessional collaboration.
