Anne Zuidema

Anne Zuidema is an Assistant Professor of Nursing Instruction at Hope College, where she teaches Gerontological Theory and Practice. With a career spanning over two decades, she specializes in gerontological nursing, palliative and hospice care, and evidence-based care practices.

• Education: DNP (Michigan State University, 2020), M.S. in Nursing (Michigan State University, 2004), B.S. in Nursing (Hope College/Calvin College joint program, 1999)

Her expertise includes providing care in assisted living and nursing home settings, collaborating with families on palliative care, and supervising patient care in medical, surgical, and intensive care units. She joined Hope College in 2019 after working at a West Michigan community hospital.
