About
Dr. Anne Worley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences within the Faculty of Science at the University of Manitoba. Based in Room 525 of the Buller Building, she investigates floral diversity through the lenses of pollination biology and life-history evolution. Her research examines how floral structures evolve in response to animal pollinators and explores the balance between mutualistic and antagonistic species relationships.
Her primary research focuses include:
- Evolution of floral design and adaptation
- Community-level reproductive success in rewardless flowering systems
- Pollinator network dynamics in tallgrass prairie ecosystems
- Evolutionary consequences of plant-pollinator interactions
Dr. Worley actively mentors both graduate and undergraduate researchers studying plant-pollinator coevolution and floral adaptation mechanisms.
