Anne Sloan

Anne Sloan, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Associate Program Director for the Clinical Base Year at the University of Kentucky's Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine. Her work focuses on clinical education and resident training.

• Education: Completed medical education and anesthesiology residency at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Sloan’s clinical interests include ambulatory anesthesia, adult cardiothoracic anesthesia, chronic pain, neuroanesthesia, obstetrical anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, and regional/acute pain management. She contributes to the department’s educational initiatives, including the Anesthesiology Clinician Educator (ACE) Track and fellowship programs in Pain Medicine, Pediatric Anesthesiology, and Critical Care Medicine.
