Anne-Rigt Poortman

Anne-Rigt Poortman is a Professor at the Department of Sociology within the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at Utrecht University. Her work focuses on family sociology, social demography, and life course research, particularly examining postdivorce family diversity and its consequences for children and parents. She leads the New Families in the Netherlands (NFN) data collection and a VICI research program investigating outcomes in diverse postdivorce family structures.
