Anne M Gothmann

Anne M Gothmann is an Associate Professor of Environmental Studies and Physics at St. Olaf College, where she directs New Faculty Mentoring and serves as Interim Director of Engineering Studies (2025). Her research focuses on paleoclimate science and earth system dynamics, using geochemical signatures in fossil coral skeletons to reconstruct past ocean temperatures, circulation, and sea level. She emphasizes diversity and global engagement in climate science.
