Anne-Li Lindgren

Professor Anne-Li Lindgren is affiliated with the Department of Child and Youth Studies at Stockholm University. She holds a Ph.D. from Linköping University and has extensive experience in teaching preschool teacher education programs, master's programs, and doctoral education through supervision and lectures. Her research focuses on childhood studies, children's culture, preschool, media studies, cultural studies, childhood history, and visual studies. She employs discourse analysis and historical methodologies, with current interests in preschool observation practices, documentation, and visuality. She leads a VR-funded project on Swedish sex education (1882–2014) and collaborates with institutions like the Child Culture Centre.
