Anne L. Washington

Anne L. Washington is an Assistant Professor of Data Policy at New York University's Steinhardt School, specializing in governance of emerging digital technologies. Her work bridges ethics, institutional legitimacy, and public interest technology through research on data science, blockchain, and automated systems. She holds a PhD in Information Systems from George Washington University, an MLIS from Rutgers, and a CS degree from Brown University.
