Anne Hogan is a Professor and Dean of the College of Performing Arts and the Musco Center for the Arts at Chapman University. Her career spans academic leadership, fundraising, and international collaboration in the arts and humanities.

Dr. Hogan’s research and professional work focus on interdisciplinary arts integration, dance science, and transdisciplinary collaborations bridging the arts, humanities, and STEM. She has pioneered programs like the MBA in Media and Entertainment, Fashion Design and Merchandising, and the Dance Science undergraduate program.
Her leadership roles at Ithaca College, University of Memphis, Royal Academy of Dance, and London Metropolitan University highlight her expertise in curricular innovation, institutional branding, and global outreach. She co-founded the University of Memphis Institute for Arts and Health, fostering cross-sector research and funding opportunities.
Dr. Hogan’s artistic contributions include editing scholarly volumes, serving as associate editor for works on Robert Wilson, and conducting masterclasses worldwide in dance and performance.
