Anne Grete Moxness

Anne Grete Moxness is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities, NTNU since 2021. She holds a Master's in Language and Communication from SEKOM (2023) and has worked as a professional interpreter between Norwegian and Norwegian Sign Language since 2004, previously employed at Statped and the Signo Foundation.

Research Interests: Focus on interpreter-mediated communication, participation dynamics in educational settings, and communication analysis in professional contexts. Her master's thesis examined supervision meetings through conversation analysis, co-authored with Magnhild Rød Michalsen.

Teaching & Outreach: Teaches Norwegian Sign Language and interpreting courses (e.g., TEGN2005, TEGN1103). Active in academic outreach, delivering lectures on topics like 'Analytical Concepts in the Study of Interpreter-Mediated Interaction' (2024) and 'Conditions for Participation in Interpreted Supervision Meetings' (2023).
