Anne Frey

Anne Frey serves as Vice Rector for Educational Research and Development at Vorarlberg University of Education (Pädagogische Hochschule Vorarlberg) since March 2022, where she also holds a professorship in Primary Education at the Institute for Primary Education and Learning Development since October 2018. Her academic career spans multiple prestigious institutions including Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München where she held various research and teaching positions from 2008-2018.

Dr. Frey's research interests focus on teacher professionalization across career phases, inclusive education systems, classroom management, value-oriented pedagogy, and civil courage education. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in teacher education, emphasizing the connection between science and practice in developing effective teaching methodologies.
