Anne Eileen McCarthy

Anne McCarthy is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and a member of the Division of Infectious Diseases at The Ottawa Hospital. She directs the Tropical Medicine and International Health Clinic and has held leadership roles such as Chair of CATMAT and Lead for Undergraduate Medical Education Global Health.

• Clinical Focus: Infections in ICU and transplant patients, tuberculosis, malaria
• Research Interests: Infections in compromised hosts, vaccine efficacy, antiretroviral-drug interactions, travel medicine compliance

She previously served as Director of the Office of Global Health for the Faculty of Medicine and contributes to graduate/postdoctoral education through the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
