Anne Eason

Dr. Anne Eason is an Associate Head of Department (Policing) at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), overseeing the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship. She is also a Trustee of The Wheels Project, Bristol, and an External Examiner for York St John University.

• Research: Emotional intelligence in police decision-making, domestic abuse, violent offenses against women and girls, pedagogical learning in criminology, and trauma-informed practices with sexual offenders.
• Teaching: Evidence-Based Policing, Criminological Theory, Victims and Victimology, Risk and Risk Management.

Her expertise spans police education, risk assessment, and social justice advocacy. Publications include works on academic-police collaboration and community perceptions of law enforcement.
