Anne E. Gregory is a Professor of Literacy at Purdue University Northwest (PNW). Previously, she served as Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Northern Illinois University and Interim Chair of the Department of Counselor Education at Western Illinois University. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Literacy & Language Education from Purdue University.
Her research emphasizes children’s literacy learning difficulties, emergent literacy practices, and inclusive educational strategies. Recent work addresses innovative approaches to early childhood education, such as integrating literacy interventions with public health challenges like the opioid crisis.
Dr. Gregory has been recognized with the BSU Foundation Scholar Award in Service and holds credentials as a Reading Recovery Teacher Leader. Her expertise spans elementary education licensing and curriculum development.
