AnnaMarie Conner

AnnaMarie Conner serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Mary Frances Early College of Education at the University of Georgia, where she bridges educational theory and practice through cross-college collaborations between the College of Education and College of Engineering.

Her research specializes in advancing argumentation-based instructional strategies for elementary STEM education, with particular focus on integrating mathematics, science, and coding curricula. Through the CALC (Collective Argumentation Learning and Coding) project, she investigates how teachers can cultivate critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving in young learners through structured classroom discourse.

Dr. Conner's work emphasizes practical applications for K-5 educators, developing frameworks that transform traditional STEM instruction into dynamic, argument-driven learning experiences that build foundational computational thinking skills from an early age.
