Anna Vaskuri

Anna Vaskuri is a Senior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), working within the Quantum Electromagnetics Division under the Physical Measurement Laboratory. She is a member of the Long Wavelength Sensors and Applications Group, focusing on advanced cryogenic detector technologies.

Her research interests include:

• Development of superconducting microwave kinetic inductance detectors (MKIDs)
• Low-temperature sensor design for astronomical applications
• Quantum sensing and microwave metrology
• Optical instrumentation for telescopes
• Superconducting materials in practical applications

Anna leads cryogenic microwave measurement experiments and actively identifies and applies for research funding to advance sensing technologies. Her work supports both astronomical measurements and quantum metrology innovations.
