Anna Van Meter, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, affiliated with Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone. As a clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center, she specializes in evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders in youth, including depression, bipolar disorder, and social anxiety.
Her research focuses on leveraging digital phenotyping (smartphone data collection) to improve early detection of mood episodes and suicide risk in adolescents.
