Anna Trojanowska

Anna Trojanowska is a Professor and Vice-dean of the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, where she heads the Graphic Interface Design Studio since 2015. She graduated from the same institution in 2002, earned her PhD in 2010, and completed her habilitation in 2019.

Professor Trojanowska specializes in printmaking (particularly lithography on marble), animation, and interface design. Her research pioneers advanced lithographic techniques on unconventional substrates like marble, integrating traditional printmaking with digital media through projects such as 'Fruits of the Stone'.

Her exceptional contributions have earned numerous international accolades:

• Red Dot Award and F1 Gold Award for interface design/animation
• Grand Prix of the 27th International Biennial of Contemporary Exlibris in Malbork (2020)
• Grand Prix in the Biennial TGB-eMe Miniestampa, Mexico City (2019)

• First Prize in the International Print Award Carmen Arozena, Madrid (2018)
• Grand Prix in the Biennial of Contemporary Engraving, Bassano del Grappa (2017)

She mentors students as head of the Graphic Interface Design Studio and secured Ministry of Science and Higher Education funding for her lithographic matrices research project. Her international collaborations span symposia in China, Germany, Sweden, and the Czech Republic.

Professor Trojanowska maintains active creative output through her studio leadership and global exhibition presence, including recent solo shows in Wrocław, Munich, and Italy.
