Anna Torell

Anna Torell is a Visiting Research Fellow at Halmstad University’s School of Business, Innovation and Sustainability. Her research focuses on high-intensity interval training (HIIT) interventions in individuals with axial spondyloarthritis, serum protein responses to exercise, and comparative studies between chronic disease populations and healthy controls. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including studies on HIIT efficacy and patient experiences. Her work bridges exercise physiology, rheumatology, and clinical science to improve therapeutic strategies for inflammatory conditions.
