Anna Tevyashova

Anna Tevyashova is an Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the School of Science, Constructor University. Her research focuses on combating antibiotic resistance, a critical global health issue, by designing novel antimicrobial substances to address bacterial and fungal pathogens.

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioorganic Chemistry from Gause Institute of New Antibiotics (2002-2005)
  • Master of Sciences (MSc) in Biotechnology and Biochemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology (MITHT) (1995-2001)

Her work spans the synthesis and evaluation of hybrid antibiotic molecules, environmental detection of macrolide antibiotics, and modification of aminoglycoside derivatives. She operates from Research III, Room 132, on the university campus in Bremen, Germany.
