Anna Steidle

Anna Steidle is a Professor at the University of Hohenheim's Faculty I (Management and Law), where she has led the Competence Center for Work, Organization, and Human Resources Management in the Public Sector since 2016. She previously held roles at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics and served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Hohenheim before joining Hochschule für Verwaltung (HVF) Ludwigsburg full-time.

Her research focuses on workplace health, digital work environments, and public sector leadership dynamics. She explores how physical environments impact employee wellbeing, with projects on lighting ergonomics, virtual reality recovery, and digital transformation in administration. Her recent articles examine stress assessment frameworks, digital leadership implications, and psychological needs in governance.

Notable awards include the 2022 Boorberg Verlag Publication Prize (2nd Place) and Best Paper Awards from the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology (2017) and the 5th International Seminar on Positive Occupational Health Psychology (2012). She regularly supervises doctoral theses and contributes to cooperative doctoral programs like Good Administration and Menschen in Räumen.
