Anna Snyder

Dr. Anna Snyder is an Associate Professor of Conflict Resolution Studies with expertise in gender-responsive peacebuilding and refugee support systems. She holds affiliations with both the University of Winnipeg and Canadian Mennonite University. Her research examines women's peace organizations in conflict zones including Myanmar, Thailand, Tibet, and Sudan.

• Truth and reconciliation processes in Canada
• Integration of resettled refugees from Burma
• Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325

Community Leadership: Co-convenes the International Peace Research Association's Gender and Peace Commission and co-founded Canadian Voices of Women for Peace Manitoba. Supervised development of peacebuilding toolkits used internationally including in Democratic Republic of Congo.
