Anna Scott

Dr Anna Scott is a Research Fellow affiliated with the University of Leiden, The Netherlands. Her work focuses on revisiting 19th-century Austro-German music, particularly Johannes Brahms, to address its historical implications, contemporary relevance, and resistance to appropriation by far-right movements. She collaborates with the University of Surrey's Institute of Austrian and German Music Research through a fellowship involving lectures, performances, discussions, and workshops, including a public symposium.
