Prof. Anna Rabinovich is a Professor of Social Psychology and Sustainability at the University of Sussex’s School of Psychology. Her work focuses on leveraging group processes and communication to address environmental sustainability challenges, particularly in East African pastoralist communities. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Exeter (2007) and previously served as a lecturer and senior lecturer at Exeter before joining Sussex in 2022. She leads the REAL NbS project (2024–2027), funded by NERC, exploring nature-based solutions to enhance climate resilience in eastern Africa. Her research spans three core areas: cooperative management of shared resources, the role of minority groups in societal change, and effective science communication.
