Anna Ostow

Anna Ostow (she/they) is a Sotomayor Fellow (2022–2023) and the Contemplative Practice, Mindfulness, and Social Change Facilitator at the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life at Smith College. She works to create inclusive spaces for relational growth and fosters awareness of systemic racial conditioning while emphasizing compassion and connection.

Ostow’s research interests focus on somatic education, contemplative practices, and their intersection with social justice. She collaborates with the UNtraining community and mentors individuals exploring racial identity, belonging, and holistic well-being.

Scientific awards include the prestigious Sotomayor Fellow designation. Her work emphasizes bridging personal transformation with collective social change.
