Anna Maria Rapetti

Anna Maria Rapetti is an Associate Professor of Medieval History at Ca' Foscari University of Venice's Department of Humanities. She holds a PhD from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Milan, 1996) and has been affiliated with Ca' Foscari since 2002. Her research focuses on medieval monasticism, ecclesiastical institutions, and rural history in Northern Italy. She is co-director of the Studi di storia book series and a member of several research centers including the Inter-University Centre for Early Medieval History and Archaeology (SAAME).
