Anna Hudson

Anna Hudson is a Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Flinders University within the College of Medicine and Public Health. Her research focuses on respiratory physiology, neural control of breathing, and breathlessness in health and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), with a notable contribution to the principle of motor unit recruitment by neuromechanical matching.

She supervises Honours, Masters, and PhD students, including

and collaborates with national and international researchers. Her work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in health and education.

She is a lead investigator in the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI) and Honorary Research Fellow at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA).
